Listening Sessions: Your City, Your Voice

Zoom Banner_logo-1

Share your experiences as autistic persons, caregivers, and providers in Philadelphia. Tell us what is working well, what needs improvement, and what we should focus on in the coming years.

Background:

In 2014, stakeholders contributed to a Final Report (click to learn more) of over 100 initiatives. These initiatives guided what we worked on in the coming years. It is close to 10 years since that Final Report. There have also been many changes since the pandemic. We need your voice to guide what we work on in the coming years.

There are several ways to have your voice heard. Please see below for more details.

  • Listening Sessions
  • Survey Feedback
  • Voice Message

Virtual Listening Sessions

Virtual Zoom sessions are available in May, with day and evening time options. Originally, we had specific session dates for specific audiences. However, we are seeing that there is a mixture of people attending each session. Therefore, we are combining sessions into one day and evening time. Please note: Sessions will be recorded so that we can refer to the feedback shared. Topics and themes will be gathered across all sessions, into a brief report. The brief report will be shared publicly. No identifying information will be included in the report.

Teens and Young Adults: Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Autistic Adults: Thursday, May 4th, 2023, 12 – 1 pm

ALL ARE WELCOME: Wednesday, May 17th, 2023, 12 – 1 pm and 7 – 8 pm
