2018 Philadelphia Autism Project and Community Behavioral Health Art Show
March 12, 2018 – April 27, 2018
Thank you for participating in this event!
In honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, the Philadelphia Autism Project launched its first collaborative art show Philadelphia: A Spectrum of Experiences. We were excited and humbled by the responses we received to our Call for Art for this inaugural exhibit. Artists shared their experiences from living in their neighborhood, to what it means to be a sports fan in this city. Works received have covered themes from art, history and culture, to what home feels and looks like. While this event recognized talented artists and raised awareness about autism, it was also an opportunity to gain insight and celebrate people of all abilities, backgrounds, and experiences.
Presented by the Philadelphia Autism Project in partnership with:
- Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS) through Community Behavioral Health (CBH)
- Office of Philadelphia City Councilman-At-Large Derek Green
- City of Philadelphia Office of Arts, Culture & the Creative Economy
