2024 Philadelphia Autism Project Conference

We are excited to announce the 9th Annual Philadelphia Autism Project Conference: Bridging Research and Lived Experience. This conference will take place in person on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024. At this yearly event, members of the Philadelphia community come together to share ideas and resources. This year’s theme is focused on the integration of knowledge and expertise from both research and lived experience. During the conference, we’ll explore topics across the lifespan to encourage discussions, enhance understanding, and develop a comprehensive approach to autism that values all voices and experiences. Below provides more information:

 

  • REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. If you are interested in registering, please email phillyap@drexel.edu (or call 267-225-2841) with your name. Thank you!
  • Time: Registration opens at 8:30 am. Welcoming Remarks begin at 9:30 am. The day ends at 3 pm.
  • Location: Community Behavioral Health (CBH), 801 Market Street, 11th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
  • Light breakfast, boxed lunches, and limited parking vouchers will be available!
  • Sessions are 1.15 hours long.
  • Topics are relevant throughout the lifespan and cover autism in schools, social media, employment, navigating adulthood, assistive technology, and partnered approaches to autism research.
  • Translation and interpretation services are available upon request. Please let us know if you will need any translation or interpretation services by Tuesday, October 1st, 2024. Please indicate this in the registration form or reach out to us at 267-225-2841 or phillyap@drexel.edu.
